The "Jeans Bandit" Caught on Camera!
Two of Direct Alarm's video surveillance installations in Atlanta offered Atlanta Police Department such clear facial images of two robberies, committed by the "Jeans Bandit", that when the police officer viewed the recorded video he recognized the criminal immediately.
After the first of the two robberies, the retail chain's security supervisor emailed the images, captured by Direct Alarm's cameras, to all of the other locations so they could be on the look out. When the bandit showed up to commit the second robbery of the retail chain, the store manager recognized the bandit from those images and notified police before the robbery began.
During the interrogation of the "Jeans Bandit", he denied committing the crimes. However, when the officer showed him the video from our cameras, the "Jeans Bandit" began to cry.
